The new Firefox 57.0 no longer warns on close, even though the settings are available in the config.

I have tried changing them to false, then back to true again and it does nothing.

these are the config items I modified browser.tabs.warnOnCloseOtherTabs;true browser.tabs.selectOwnerOnClose;true browser.tabs.warnOnClose;true

Also is there a way to search support for issues related to the version of firefox you are using?

If you have in Options: On startup Firefox will: restore your session, these settings are irrelevant.
