Error MOZILLA_PKIX_ERROR_OCSP_RESPONSE_FOR_CERT_MISSING
I have this problem with the website of a client of mine, which is on a shared hosting. When one tries to open it with Firefox, this error is shown:
An error occurred during a connection to www......com. The OCSP response does not include a status for the certificate being verified. Error code: MOZILLA_PKIX_ERROR_OCSP_RESPONSE_FOR_CERT_MISSING
Everything works with Chrome.
This happens since yesterday, when the certificate, which is issued by Let's encrypt, has been renewed.
I know that one can change firefox configuration to bypass this error, but this is obviously not a solution for me. The web host support says they cannot help. What can I do?
Thanks in advance for any help,
GP

https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/update-firefox-latest-version if not updated since you posted. Get the update and see if anything changes.
There is security software like Avast and Kaspersky and BitDefender and ESET that intercepts secure connections and sends their own certificate or that incorporates special web shielding features that can block content. thus get errors, you can google and check the forums of the above if you are running any of them.
Can try : Please : https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/export-firefox-bookmarks-to-backup-or-transfer and https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/back-and-restore-information-firefox-profiles then https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/refresh-firefox-reset-add-ons-and-settings TEST....... If no issues then Extensions which need to be added back in 1 at a time and tested ..... Or it is your Profile : Make a new one and test ...: https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/profile-manager-create-and-remove-firefox-profiles
Please let us know if this solved your issue or if need further assistance.
Thanks for your reply. In fact, the problem was for every user using Firefox, so it didn't depend on a particular configuration. Now it seems that it works again, after reissuing the certificate for the third time. Thanks again, GP
