I work with a colleague in a shared mailbox and we would like to syncronise labels. We know it's possible, because 2 other colleagues do, but it won't work with us

If it works or not depends on the mail software used on the server and requires that the mail account are configured to use IMAP.

So can you confirm that you are using IMAP to read/synhchronise your mail and that your other colleagues are using the same mail server. For example, some IMAP server will only synchronise the first few labels, other have no limits as such.
