When I go to the LG website and try to either live chat or send an email request nothing happens with Firefox 57. The chat window doesn't open or when trying to send the email the submit button doesn't do anything. I only have 3 addons (HTTPS Everywhere, LastPass and Sort Bookmarks) and even with those disabled it still has the same issues. However if I use Edge everything works as it should. It also used to work with the older versions of Firefox so I'm not sure why the new one has problems with this site.

Thanks

Thanks for the ideas but it didn't seem to resolve the issue. The LG site is the only one I have come across (so far) that has these issues.

I later discovered the issue. It was the Tracking Protection setting. It was set for Always but I reset it to Private Windows and now it works again. I may change it back to Always and add an exception for LG into it.

I would not have thought this setting would prevent a chat window from opening or the other issues I had on their site

uninstall Firefox. Then Delete the Mozilla Firefox Folders in C:\Program Files and C:\Program Files(x86) Then restart system. Then run Windows Disk Cleanup. (Note: This should be Pinned and run Weekly, If never done below expect 10's of gig's) Then run it again and click the button that says Cleanup System Files. Note: your Firefox Profile is saved. But you should make a back up before you do :

Reinstall with Current Release Firefox 57.0.2 with a Full Version Installer

Please let us know if this solved your issue or if need further assistance.
