ThunderBird Problems in Cascading Style Sheet Scripts (css) & WindStream.Net SMTP Server protocol errors (Mail Transfer Agent: MTA)
Dear ThunderBird Support,
I am having trouble with WindStream.Net. Their server responds to "Sending Login Information with: Error Unknown Command 'ID'. However, I can see that what is sent by ThunderBird is 'Nnn UID' where 'n's are decimal numeric. I contacted WindStream.Net Support. I am unable to get through to any contact person who understands SMTP or has any technical knowledge other than what they can read from their "commonly asked questions"
What can I do???? Can you help???

There have been several reports of issues with windstream. The message you get is from the server and is likely to have nothing to do with Thunderbird. Apparently windstream are in the process of migrating their servers. This might be causing you the problem. http://downdetector.com/status/windstream

The error console logs a lot of garbage. If you want to see a mess see mine after I spend a couple of hours on RSS feeds. Basically to get anything useful from the console you have to clear it, attempt the action and check for new entries. Being aware that things like calendar refresh from the network will also be adding things. So what you see is not always related to the problem, even when you are trying to narrow down the error by clearing the console.
