Printing blank web page seems to be common now with no resolve.
Since the last update my FF (Win10 57.0.4 (64-bit) no longer prints any web pages etc. I see others have the same issue. I have done all the things recommended by all the Pro's on this site as well as mozillazine and noting works. You know..... Reinstall, change profiles, reset etc, etc, etc. I checked all other browsers and they all print with no issue. Checked all the 5 add on's I have etc etc. All good here. Printer checked and all great here. Tried saving page to PDF (many times) then printing PDF but always get 3 lines evenly spaced on page. Did this with other browsers and all worked perfectly. My very minimal customization of FF is very close to an original unlike some users who are into heavy customization. So what gives. There is an issue and no hard help or resolve from Mozilla. Where do we go from here?

Were going to needs links to the page and for others to attempt to verify what your saying is happening. And which Pro are you referring to? Issues can only be helped but when ranting and not letting the rest look into the problem does not help anyone understand what is going on.
OK !OK!, no need to be bity. I refer to 'Professionals' including yourself, semi 'Pros' and those with much more experience than me and I am not afraid to admit that there are many out there more experienced than me. I could have meandered along the road of flowery, round the houses questions and or statements but I am old enough to give due respect to those younger than me with greater understanding of this situation so as to help me resolve it.
So take my points thus: 1. Since the last update my FF (Win10 57.0.4 (64-bit) no longer prints any web pages etc. 2. I see others have the same issue. 3. Reinstalled FF after clean uninstall etc, change profiles, reset etc, etc, etc. 4. Have checked all other browsers and they all print with no issue. 5. Checked all the 5 add on's I have etc etc. All good here 6. Printer checked and all great here. Tried saving page to PDF (many times) then printing PDF but always get 3 lines evenly spaced on page. Did this with other browsers and all worked perfectly. 7. I have a very minimal customization of FF which is very close to an original unlike some users who are into heavy customization.
So there we have it. I followed the guidelines set by MoZ on their help page / support forum and still am no further down the line as are many others. So I look to MoZ for help.
So to reinstate the friendliness of my query I say again, Ciao Ciao (friendly and non aggressive term used here in the Island of Gozo)
Further note (as I did) was to search the internet with the question "Blank pages when printing in FF from web page". I am just one of many. Ciao

And unless they are on or printing the same page as you then it won't help with this problem. Help has to be on a specific problem not a general or unverifiable problem. We have to work on on problem at a time.
Is this a brand new issue with the latest .4 security update that did not occur when you were using Firefox 57.0-57.0.3? It's hard to think of how those very minor changes could affect printing...
Does it matter what printer you select? For example, a physical printer vs. the "Microsoft Print to PDF" printer (a feature of Windows 10 that may or may not be enabled by default under Control Panel > Programs & Features > Windows Features), or another virtual printer.
Can you check the timing and KB numbers of your latest Windows 10 updates? Some recent updates were accused of muting all audio in Firefox, and there may be other undiscovered odd effects Mozilla will need to work around.
OK... The only printer I have is a Canon MG4250 which has been faultless. It has hardly been used. Using Firefox 57.0-57.0.3 was OK for printing as I had to print some airline boarding pass tickets for the UK last week. It does seem to be that after the auto update FF the issue started. Q: Does it matter what printer you select? A: No, I only have the option of printing to my Canon or MS to PDF.
I have included here 'Timing and KB numbers'. A snapshot of 'Windows features'
Ciao
Do you want to test Firefox 57.0.3 again with the latest Windows update to see whether it still works? You can update to 57.0.4 again after the test.
This is the U.S. English version, if you prefer a different language, click the .. link and then click into the applicable language/locale folder:
http://archive.mozilla.org/pub/firefox/releases/57.0.3/win64/en-US/
Running a slightly older installer usually causes no problems. Firefox detects your existing data and does an "upgrade" style installation.
However, it never hurts to make a backup just in case. See: Back up and restore information in Firefox profiles.
OK, I have an interesting update. On this laptop (acer Win10pro) there are 2 users. One is me and the other is my wife. I switched over and tried to print from FF a random web page and lo and behold when the Preview window came up there was the content and it printed. The version was 57.0.4. I copied all the printer settings and compared them to mine. The only difference was on my side ...
print.printer_Canon_MG4250_Printer.print_bgcolor modified boolean true print.printer_Canon_MG4250_Printer.print_bgimages modified boolean true
and on her side.... print.printer_Canon_MG4250_Printer.print_bgcolor modified boolean false print.printer_Canon_MG4250_Printer.print_bgimages modified boolean false
however I have changed mine to false to see if it made any difference. It didn't so I reverted back to true. I also have noted that I have the following in my about:config under printer.... (there is actualy a list of settings for both below) printer_Send_To_OneNote_2010.print_paper_data;9 print.printer_Microsoft_Print_to_PDF.print_to_file;false
then I have the rest of the list with the printer details.....
print.printer_Canon_MG4250_Printer.print_to_file;false
so if FF 57.0.4 is printing on my wife's side it must just be a setting. What do you think?
This could be a driver issue did you remove all the driver and clear any leftover and reinstalled the latest printer driver again? If you both installed the same driver then something went wrong in the install is what is seems like or something change the setting from the time it was installed. But what it seems like is to uninstall complete the canon driver and reinstall the latest driver and test print to verify the problem and then print a FF page as before to see what happens.
You can check for sandbox security related issues.
You can set this pref to 2 or 1 on the about:config page to lower the sandbox security setting.
- security.sandbox.content.level = 1
- close and restart Firefox to make the change effective.
If '1' still doesn't have effect then try '0' to disable the sandbox.
If this didn't work then undo/reverse the change and reset the pref via the right-click context menu to the default value.
You can open the about:config page via the location/address bar. You can accept the warning and click "I accept the risk!" to continue.
Tried the sandbox method and no change. Thanks for that cor'el
So how do I reinstall the canon driver for FF. I certainly do not want to remove the the drivers which are up to date as everything else on this system works like a charm. Thanks
Update..... For some unearthly reason printing has returned. I retried the latest FF download reinstalled with the requisit procedures duly implemented and this time, selected the British version. It now works and have printed seveerel test pages but no spell check.
How to get spell check back please........any ideas?
2nd and final update...... Spell check all working fine. Needed the UK dictionary to be installed.
Thank you every one for perseverance.
Happy times are here again.
