Since the latest update Firefox opens the scanned pictures that are on my desktop. I want them to open in Preview in stead. I can't fix it. I'm very very frustrated about this! I don't want to fix that picture by picture but the default setting should be turned off.

Would you please check the setting here :

Options => General => scroll down to Applications => under 'Actions' choose 'Preview in Firefox'

I see what you mean and I went there but as you can see there is no content that says Files or Pictures or Scans and I want Firefox NOT to open them.

Short of uninstall and delete all Firefox Folders but leave Profile and use a Full Version Installer I do not know how you will get jpegs into it. Please check if there is a default setting in Mac for what opens what. Or Right Click and Open With....
