Some of my bookmarks went "missing". I will upload two pictures to show you want I am talking about.

The question is: How do I make them appear again? I kinda like to able to press the arrow to see the rest of my bookmarks instead of having to press the star and then find them there.

It took forever to upload the picture here so I have uploaded them elsewhere and will post the link here: https://imgur.com/a/5qZiJ https://imgur.com/a/1iULz

In the first picture the separators are cut off as you will see on the second picture. So how do I get them back?

You may have moved these bookmarks accidentally to another folder.

If you press the star then you should see in which folder these bookmarks are located if they do not appear on the Bookmarks Toolbar and in its overflow drop-down list. Click the arrow at the far at the right end of the Folder line in the "Edit This Bookmark" dialog to see the full folder list. Use the scroll bar or mouse wheel to see what folder is highlighted.

The bookmarks are still on the Bookmarks Toolbar list but the overflow drop-down list you are talking about is missing it only appears if I have my browser open in a small enough window as seen on picture two. Didn't know what to call the thing that is missing but now that you have given it a name I can say that it is the overflow drop-down list that is missing.

What is to the left and right of the bookmarks that show on the Bookmarks Toolbar? Are that bookmarks that you obscured or are there other elements on the Bookmarks Toolbar?

Sorry for the late answer. Yes they are just bookmarks... All the black is just bookmarks

Are those bookmarks missing in the Library window and the Bookmarks Sidebar, too? I'm not a "fan" of the Bookmarks Toolbar and in most Profiles keep it hidden except in my rarely used Profiles where I don't have many bookmarks saved. I prefer accessing my bookmarks from the Sidebar via {Ctrl + B}. but that's just my "style" of working with my two most used Profiles.

Why so many separators on the Bookmarks Toolbar? Is that where the missing bookmarks were sitting? If so, I wonder if that is part of the problem? Like hitting a fluke or maximum in Quantum.

IMO, you are better off with putting that many bookmarks in folders on the Bookmarks Toolbar AND not use separators on the BTB. Try to keep the width of the BTB smaller and avoid too many ending up in the "overflow" drop-down.

The only thing missing is the last separators on the right and the overflow arrow. I only use the separators because I want the 5 bookmarks I use the most to be in the middle of the screen... But I can maybe use the new invisible box now. When I use ctrl+b all the bookmarks are there.

If you want to center the bookmarks then try to place flexible spaces at the left end and the right end of the "Bookmarks Toolbar Items" in customization mode.

If there are fixed spaces then this only works at a specific width of the Firefox window, otherwise everything is pushed to the right and is out of view when you make the screen smaller.
