All attempts to delete an unwanted autofill entry on Firefox 58.0.2 have failed. Help!
I accidentally entered secure information along with a username. Now that secure information always comes up as an autofill option. I have tried highlighting and deleting. I have deleted specific cookies. I have created exceptions for saved logins. Unchecking 'Remember search and form history' in preferences works but makes other things inconvenient. Is there no other way?

Is this what you did?
Click in the field and enter a character or two and STOP ! Using the arrow keys, highlight an unwanted entry. Then press Delete (Mac=Shift Delete). Repeat as needed.

I did exactly that. Multiple times on multiple days. It never worked for me. EDIT: I tried one more time using the shift delete on my Mac. This time it seems to have worked!!
