I'm trying to do a screenshot with `firefox -screenshot test.jpg firefox.com`. I have the message `*** You are running in headless mode.` but nothing else. I continues to run and the image isn't created.

I have Firefox 58.0.2.

Hi please update or compile as no idea what you are using as this says Firefox 60 on Linux so I have no idea. Version 59 was released yesterday with fixes and more for Screenshots as per : https://www.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/59.0/releasenotes/?utm_source=firefox-browser&utm_medium=firefox-browser&utm_campaign=whatsnew

Please let us know if this solved your issue or if need further assistance.

If the screenshot isn't saved then Firefox might be trying to save the screenshot to a directory where you do not have write access.
