I click on the Firefox icon both in my apps and also on my task bar. Acts like it is going to load but nothing happens. Has always worked in the past. Have tried everything I could find on the internet but nothing works short of reinstalling which I prefer not to do of course. Any ideas?

Hi, please grab a copy of your Profile :

then uninstall Firefox. Then Delete the Mozilla Firefox Folders in C:\Program Files , C:\Program Files(x86) & C:\ProgramData Then restart system. Then run Windows Disk Cleanup. (Note: This should be Pinned and run Weekly, If never done below expect 10's of gig's) Then run it again and click the button that says Cleanup System Files. Note: your Firefox Profile is saved. But you should make a back up before you do :

Reinstall with Current Release Firefox 59.0.2 with a Full Version Installer

If this fails as is not recommended to uninstall with 3rd party programs please grab : https://www.revouninstaller.com/revo_uninstaller_free_download.html Then repeat the install with the Full Version Installer.

Please let us know if this solved your issue or if need further assistance.

Nothing worked just says close Firefox before doing anything else. Plus there is a windows 10 upgrade that will not install. Would that have anything to do with it?

Hi, you need to go to search for Task Manager and End Task if Firefox is running before doing my previous post.

Yes, If the update is waiting it can stop installing or hinder it. I think it it is only Flash Player for IE and Edge. Since do not info for you on that subject for Firefox : Flash Player Version: 29.0.0.140 Current Version | Released Today https://get.adobe.com/flashplayer/otherversions/ Step 1: Select Operating System Step 2: Select A Version (Firefox, . . . .) Note: Other software is offered in the download. <Windows Only>

Hi and Thanks, finally found where to end the Task in Task Manager but I see there are not one, not two, but seven of Firefox.exe. When I ask it to end the Task it gives a dialog with something about unstable if I do that. Should I have seven versions of Firefox.exe running and should I end them all and start over. It looks like I was able to at least reinstall or at least install another(?) or maybe more versions. Any ideas or suggestions? Appreciate the help.
