Remove newsgroups option -Forced to install a Newsgroup account
Hi,
I have just installed Thunderbird and it has imported my data from Outlook.
While installing it I clicked on NewsGroups which was an error.
Now before I can any email I get message to the effect that I "must first set up an account " etc. and it defaults to a Newsgroup type of account.
How can I get rid of this please?
Thanks
Alan
Chosen solution
Hi,
I just went through the process of setting up my email accounts and now the problem has gone away.
The reason for the "stone age" version is that Thunderbird says that one should use this version to import from Outlook then only when that is complete update to the latest version Thank You
Alan
