Bitdefender Free 2018 is blocking safe sites in Firefox only. There is no way to disable SSL scanning. The new setup is very limited.

Thank you Fred. I decided to uninstall Bitdefender and use Kaspersky instead. Bitdefender was configured to block unknown sites like openclipart.org which is a legitimate safe site. In Kaspersky there is a way to opt out of this function but not in bitdefender. Thank you for responding
