Firefox will start fine on 10 a couple of times then will not. I then need to restart the computer to get it going again. Refresh (clean start) does not help.

Firefox will open normally after a restart or when turning the computer on. Then after using it a few times it will no longer open. From there I need to re-start again in order to regain access. I am running windows 10 on a pc laptop. I have performed the refresh (clean start) numerous times with no success. Any help would be most appreciated, thanks.

Hi, Please do this to repair Windows registry and Files : Use the Windows key + X keyboard shortcut to open the Power User menu and select Command Prompt (Admin).

Type (Copy/Paste) the following command and press Enter:

DISM /Online /Cleanup-Image /RestoreHealth

Reboot After.

Then please try doing a reinstall this way ( I will take it that you are running current release as no info came) : uninstall Firefox. Then Delete the Mozilla Firefox Folders in C:\Program Files , C:\Program Files(x86) & C:\ProgramData Then restart system. Then run Windows Disk Cleanup. (Note: This should be Pinned and run Weekly, If never done below expect 10's of gig's) Then run it again and click the button that says Cleanup System Files. Note: your Firefox Profile is saved. But you should make a back up before you do :

Reinstall with Current Release Firefox 60.0.1 with a Full Version Installer

Please : go to the Firefox 3 Bar Menu --> Options --> Privacy & Security panel and under Permissions check (put a tick in the box) the setting to Prevent Accessibility Services from accessing your browser.

Please let us know if this solved your issue or if need further assistance.
