Installing 64 bit Firefox - then using helper.exe -ms to uninstall 32-bit Firefox
So here is the dilemma: I have deployed Firefox 64-bit to multiple users (100+) successfully. Then I am running helper.exe -ms from the %Program Files (x86)%\Mozilla Firefox directory. This works and uninstalls the 32-bit version, however it also removes the desktop shortcuts, and the folder in the start menu.
Is there a way to prevent this behavior?

Sounds like helper is being overly helpful. Try using the Windows uninstall program instead.
PS: Are the links pointing to the new install, or the old one?
