i have installed enigmail, yet thunderbird does not see any keys.

I have encrypted emails. I have a new computer. I have received the key from the sender. I have installed Kleopatra. The keys are verified. Tbird, doesnt see any keys for me to read the emails.

Encrypted to who's key? Presumably your own key?

Congratulations. Did you also import your existing key pair into your gnupg keyring?

And what did you do with them? Also, how is that related to your problem not being able to decrypt messages?

What keys, and what does 'verified' mean?

For what reason when you want to use Enigmail?

See above about importing your (presumably) existing own key pair.
