New bookmarks lose folder and went to Other Bookmarks
I just confirmed that all my new bookmarks are losing the folder I'm assigning to them. Now the last aprox. 20 are in "Other Bookmarks". I saw this before but I thought that I was forgetting to add a folder when I bookmarked a page, but I'm now sure that the new bookmarks are losing the folder at an unspecified time. I can't find any related info and can't create an account in bugzilla to report it. Any help? Thanks.
Update 1: I've disabled Test Pilot add-ons as mentioned below, and at first it seemed fine (I opened the Bookmarks sidebar all the time to watch them, and today they were exactly as I left them yesterday). Later, I was checking the bookmarks in my phone after syncing them and there were differences: a lot of bookmarks I had fixed yesterday now showed again in "Other Bookmarks" (only in the phone, they are ok in the PC); also, I created a subfolder and moved several bookmarks there in the desktop, but in the phone shows the folder empty and the bookmarks are in the previous outside folder (they still are ok in the PC). Another issue: I just came back to the PC and 2 pages I'd bookmarked yesterday with a folder lose it and are now in "Other Bookmarks". I think that all of these issues are related to the Syncing process. At this moment, there are differences between the PC and the phone even if I manually sync both. It's messed up.

Hi, there's a know issue in Firefox 62 beta when using Sync where we don't manage bookmarks moves correctly. This is tracked here, I would currently expect it to be incorporated into a beta later this week.

HI, version 62 is that Developer ?
Long Explanation converted to short the bookmarks star does not work as well as should and need to always check that it is going to the folder you want it to go to as default is Other Bookmarks, needs to be changed every time. Use this : https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/default-bookmark-folder/
Please let us know if this solved your issue or if need further assistance.

Not much discussion of the Beta / Developer Edition and Nightly (alpha) builds here, but mozillaZine fora has a new thread started everyday a Nightly is put out which also includes discussion of the the Beta / WE versions. http://forums.mozillazine.org/viewforum.php?f=23
That could be a true fault which needs to be fixed, or it might be a change that needs more attention. Worth checking with other Beta users to "get the skinny" about that issue. Sometimes the related Bugzilla report is posted there.
Also, Reddit has some discussion of the Beta / Nightly versions in /r/firefox. https://www.reddit.com/r/firefox/ https://www.reddit.com/r/firefox/wiki/related

Thanks for your answer. This is with the last 62 version (automatic updates up-to-date). I have the Developer edition too although I'm not actually using it (don't know if that can be related or not). I don't find an answer yet with your help, but I'll be testing for the next days disabling some extension because I have installed the Test Pilot of Firefox Notes and Side View. Thanks again.

I have the last Quantum 62.0b5 (64-bit) version. I'll be testing for the next days and I'll write again if I found a cause and/or a solution. Thanks for answer.

Hi! I've disabled the bookmarks Sync in my phone and I was monitoring my desktop bookmarks for the last two days. So far the issue didn't show anymore so I think that bug is the cause. I'll check the question as resolved. Thank you for your answer!
