get messages to switch to inbox tab

When I /get messages/, I want to see what new new messages have arrived. But if I am in a tab different from the Inbox tab, I have to manually select the tab. Is it possible to configure Thunderbird to switch automatically to the inbox tab when I /get messages/? I tried searching the forum, but I cannot find anything that addresses the question.
