I have my login info but the email that is sent out to verify the login is no longer active it was an old work email. Never added a secondary email didn't know it was an option at the time is there any hope of getting the account back or not really?

No. It is associated to that email address.

How is it stopping you from logging into the account. ?

Do you have a device you are Synced with (plural)  ? If not Sync is not for you anyways as it is not intended as a backup service.

What do you mean how is it stopping me from logging in? When you sign in on a new device it sends an email to verify that log in on a device.

Sync is a pretty decent back of service whether its not intended or it is.

You will have to create a new account with an email address that you can access and verify if you can no longer use the old account.
