Firefox is now incompatible with ebay. Recently Firefox is stopping the ebay page from being scrollable. The search results appear, and momentarily the scroll handle at right is a few cm tall then it fills almost the entire screen height, it has nowhere to be moved to, and the scroll wheel also is unable to scroll. Ebay are aware of this and having carried out some changes to their site prior to this happening, the cause they say is Mozilla have yet to update Firefox to handle such.

If I use IE it is ok.

This means ebay for the moment cannot be used with Firefox.

When is Mozilla going to repair this as its been a while now.

I only ever use Firefox and ebay being popular with most folk I am surprised this issue exists still.

If there is still a problem, Start Firefox in Safe Mode {web link} by holding down the <Shift> (Mac=Options) key, and then starting Firefox.

A small dialog should appear. Click Start In Safe Mode (not Refresh). Did this help?

While you are in safe mode;

Try disabling graphics hardware acceleration in Firefox. Since this feature was added to Firefox it has gradually improved but there are still a few glitches.

If you have a three button mouse, clicking the middle button turns the mouse into a scroll controller.

Sussed it !, Its the S3 german translator addon doing it, added it back in and hey presto scroll failure, disable it and back to normal.

Steering clear of S3 until its fixed, if ever.

so now I need to find another german webpage translator, any suggestions ?

Any translator program will do. Not just a German one.
