You can setup Firefox so that it always uses Private Browsing mode if you want. Just do the following:

  1. Go to the Firefox settings
  2. Go to the Privacy & Security section
  3. Find the History options
  4. Select Use custom settings for history from the drop-down menu
  5. Check Always use private browsing mode
  6. Restart Firefox

Hope this helps.

NOTE: Not all websites work properly when using Firefox in Private Browsing mode.
