Auto-Fill Passwords No Longer Working

Hi. Until recently, my (saved) passwords would propagate on sites I had them saved for. This is no longer the case.

As I've read other posts with the same problem, let me just add that no, it is not the website in particular, as it is happening on all the websites (or most, as I have MANY which I've saved passwords for) I have thought to check or tried to log in to.

I REALLY do not want to reset Firefox to default again because I have add-ons/extensions, bookmarks under different folders, etc.

Any help?

Did you look at you preferences to see if any changes were made to the save option?

Yes. That was one of the first things I checked. :(

Another thing, is that Firefox was not my main browser, but I made it my Default browser thinking that would help - and it didn't. I am still having to input passwords by hand.

I may just import them again from a saved PW file, and will see how that goes, but what I dread is importing old PWs.

Start Firefox in Safe Mode {web link} by holding down the <Shift> (Mac=Options) key, and then starting Firefox.

A small dialog should appear. Click Start In Safe Mode (not Refresh). Is the problem still there?
