Can I Remove ALL unpinned sites from Top Sites?
I have expanded the Top Sites area to five rows where I keep primary sites by category in specific rows. As I do not fully populate each row, they fill up with visited sites. I am looking for a solution that will enable me to clear every space that does not have a pinned item in it all at once instead of the repeated "Dismiss" I presently am doing in one of the top boxes that is not pinned. I there a way? If not, can a way be created?

Hi, There is no such thing in Firefox called Favorites, never ,ever. it is a IE thing.
Why not customize the New Tab to what you really want :
You will need to look to figure out if something suits what you would like.
So you get a page you like, and Turn on the Bookmark Toolbar. You can drag and drop URL's to the bar, you can create Folders on the Bar of Like minded things so are readily available.
This can be down by mousing to the top of the browser and Right Click a empty Spot and click on Bookmark Toolbar.... if want the Menu bar turn it on also, or go to Customize, mouse to bottom left to Toolbars and Turn it on.
Options....
Please let us know if this solved your issue or if need further assistance.

You can't hide tiles, so you will have to pin a website to these other tiles like you did with the other tiles.
Thank you both for your responses.
My problem is to find a way to simply clear all TopSite positions that do not have a pinned item therein, not to hide it; I am fine with a blank spot displayed. I further wish a method to clear them all at one time instead of having to redundantly click "Dismiss" over and over again.
I hope that clarifies what I seek to accomplish and I apologize for any prior lack of clarity!

So bottom line is that there is not as of yet a simple button that will reset all tiles in Top Sites that are not pinned to blank.
I do appreciate the suggestions to try to help, and the fact that you guys did try to help me though, very much!
I already wrote that this isn't possible as far as I know. Firefox automatically adjusts the number of tiles on each row according to the screen width. You can zoom the page to make Firefox place less tiles on each row and consider to place the same number of pinned tabs on each row as a workaround.
see this answer:
As I use this area as a "Favorites shortcut bar", looks like my best option right now is to fill up the areas I want to remain blank with duplicates in the row and when I want to add another, to open it up and assign it.
Thank-you!

I'm sorry! I should have never said "Favorites"! I just moved from Colorado Springs, CO, to Palm Bay, FL, went from 7,000' air to being at about 55', from single digit humidity to humidity in the 90°s, had the definitive Moving company from "Heck" (...), A/C in our car went out when we still had four hours to get here while traveling with a daughter, a dog and three cats (and a fish) two weeks ago, and two days ago after dropping my daughter's friend off at the Orlando Airport was coming home and at 70 mph at nite hit what must have been a lake between concrete barriers on the highway and then concrete walls totaling one of our cars! I plead temporary insanity in using the term "Favorites"!!!
