my folders are gone

more options

My folders are gone. Happened while I was using thunderbird. I read or maybe wrote an email, then clicked back to the inbox overview page, and: none of my 'self-named / self created' folders were there anymore. Only the prefab folders are still there, like 'recycle bin', 'archives', 'spam', 'sent mai'l, etc. I did NOT delete my account or reinstall thunderbird, like the others who lost their folders. How can I get my folders back?

Hi there we have read your message.

Yes, the file folder of you has suddenly disappeared after clicking something else internally. The idea is to use other programs as soon as possible. thus to achieve the best result to be able to get this out of the water. If these folders have finally disappeared. Too much of the wrong programs also leaves a negative effect.

Try this program http://www.recuva.com

This program is free of charge. If this has no effect you will have to go to paying versions. Or have to call in a specialist. Whether this is an issue for Firefox no. I also have an address for this of course :

Sorry for my late reply.... The folders turned up again shortly after, simply by (right)clicking and clicking some more in the main folder. I'm not fully sure exactly what I clicked on, and it was strange because I had been trying so many other things (clicking things :)) before putting up this post of course. But anyway: problem solved. And thank you very much for your help either way!
