Firefox crashes
Hi.I have not been able to launch firefox for a few days.It started with not being able to open google for a while, may be a few months,so I turned to firefox for searching the internet, which worked great for me. A few days earlier, when I was searching for youtube converter software, after I clicked on the link "converter.cc" I got infected with this supposedly malware which has prevented me from launching firefox since then .Now I can only get to internet using IE .
I have tried several times to start firefox in safe mode/refresh mode to no avail. Also, chrome won't open even after re-installation .Also, Malwarebytes crashed when it was scanning file system. Could you please help me with this issue? My computer is an ASUS Eee PC Seashell series and Windows 7 OS.
I have found the crash ID using your guidelines after I started it in safe mode.(By the way,I was able to launch firefox in safe mode.) Crash ID: bp-eba16027-4017-4ee0-8166-e83880181102 I appreciate your time and help in advance.

hi solomon2002, thanks for providing a crash id. unfortunately this kind of startup crash is tied to a defect in the fairly old cpu that's built into the pc. at the moment the only workaround we're aware of is to download and use a 32bit version of firefox instead: https://www.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/all/
