Where's the source-control tag for Thunderbird 64.0 beta4?

Hi Everyone,

I'm looking for the source-control tag for the [Thunderbird Setup 64.0b4.exe|https://download.mozilla.org/?product=thunderbird-64.0b4-SSL&os=win&lang=en-US] build, released December 2nd, 2018.

I have found the tag for the previous beta: https://hg.mozilla.org/releases/comm-beta/rev/THUNDERBIRD_64_0b3_RELEASE

Is this what I'm looking for? https://hg.mozilla.org/releases/comm-beta/rev/BETA_64_END Two reasons why that's probably not it:

  • The tag was created *after* the build above, on Dec. 10th
  • Its commit message contains "DONTBUILD", whatever that means.

There's a similar set of tags here: https://hg.mozilla.org/releases/comm-release/tags

Thanks Jorg! These tags (somehow marked as "4 weeks ago" now) were not there at the time I have posted the question (one week ago).

The reason I was asking for the tags is two-fold:

  • I'm currently on a Beta channel and I'd like to apply a patch to the current version installed, TB 64 beta 4, as opposed to using a daily build.
  • I'd like to know how the tagging is done for the Thunderbird release cycle.

Hi Jorg,

Could you please also help me identify the corresponding "mozilla-central" tag for a "comm-beta" tag?

For example, there is this tag for TB 65.0b1: https://hg.mozilla.org/releases/comm-beta/rev/THUNDERBIRD_65_0b1_RELEASE

But under "mozilla-beta" I can only find old (60.0) TB tags: https://hg.mozilla.org/releases/mozilla-beta/tags

I have looked at the Rapid Release doc, but it's still unclear.
