Hello everyone!

I wanted to use Thunderbird to get a nice overview of space used by each of the folders in my IMAP account.

I found how to view folder sizes, but Im unable to make it automatically scan all folders of an account I just added. I already marked them in sync settings, but some folders get scanned only if I click on them. Id like not to have to, as sometimes I setup some email account just to analyse the space occupied by each folder.

Tried also

user_pref("mail.check_all_imap_folders_for_new", true); user_pref("mail.quota.mainwindow_threshold.show", 0); (meu tava 75) check all folders for new

No luck.

Is there a way to make it forcely scan all folders (not download all mails, although I tried that also, checkbox to keep on computer it didnt work either) to get sizes?

Thanks, Rob

Perhaps the mail summaries add-on has some of the statistics your looking for. https://addons.thunderbird.net/en-US/thunderbird/addon/mail-summaries/

Or Thunderstats https://addons.thunderbird.net/en-us/thunderbird/addon/thunderstats/

Thanks, Matt!

Nice plugins, Mail summaries comes closer, but still same issue, its not showing all folders and their sizes, I didnt find a way to setup an account and make TB autoscan all folders at once, without having to click 1 by 1.

For what I wanted, a listing of folder sizes, still the extinct IMAP Size Windows app is maybe the easiest, but it has some issues.

Thanks.
