sound on silence when launching a video vimeo

hey, when i launch an integrated vimeo video, the sound is putted automatically on silence. i can change it manually and actually hear the sound of the video, but when i put the video on hold or when i move forward or backward into it, it automatically goes back on silence. i follow some online courses, it's really really annoying... can you please help me fixing this ?
