This forum is manned by unpaid volunteers offering their free from all around the world who try to help others. If people did not respond; baring in mind no one is obligued to respond, it is possible they did not have an answer or were busy and it has nothing to do with not paying attention.

So can all you please try the following: 'Menu icon' > 'Options' > 'Advanced' > 'General 'Tab. Click on 'Config-Editor' button You will get a friendly warning message. In the Search Field type: print_printer

right-click on the line print_printer for your printer and selected 'Reset'.

Close window - top right X Click on 'OK'

Restart Thunderbird. Test 'Print Preview'. Please report back on results.

I am using Thunderbird 60.5.1 and am having the exact same problem. Before the last two updates Print Preview worked just fine. It still does with other email clients. What changes were made in the last two updates that altered this process?

I am having this problem also. It is new, appeared one or two updates ago. Makes sizing for printing and paper conservation impossible.

I wonder if this is a known problem and Mozilla is working on it or nobody is paying attention.

I posted this back in January and there has been no response from Mozilla so my guess is nobody is paying attention.

Wonderful! Now Working as it used to over the many years I have depended upon Thunderbird.

Thanks very very much Toad-Hall.

Had I stumbled into this area however I would have been stopped by the message "Here Lurk Dragons" so I could never have found it or had confidence to reset. I hope this now remains in the support database.

I appreciate that support is voluntary and try to help by donating annually.

Love Firefox & Thunderbird. My first experience with live support has been very impresive.
