I have a windows 7. When I open Firefox, the first tab suggests restore session and when I do restore other tabs open all blank or trying to open. But It doesnt. Also, In Thunderbird, the browser opens But the inbox doesnt and near the cursor there's a blue circle turning.

I went to help=troubleshooting and changing places.sqlite /places.sqlite-shm/places.sqlite-wal to .old

I have also uinstalled and reinstalled. didnt work.

Please please help resolve.

When you uninstalled firefox did you also delete the mozilla folder before reinstalling?

Yes, I did & restarted. Yet as soon as it opens it says "restore session" and when I click that the tabs open but the pages dont load. Example : LinkedIn. I login with username & password ad then the blue line is going left to right without loading the page.

I also have done clear data & Clear History

You can check for problems with the sessionstore.jsonlz4 file in the Firefox profile folder that stores session data.

  • delete sessionstore.jsonlz4 and sessionstore.js

When sessionstore.jsonlz4 is deleted you lose pinned tabs and open tabs and you will have to recreate them, so if necessary make a note or bookmark them.

You can use the button on the "Help -> Troubleshooting Information" (about:support) page to go to the current Firefox profile folder or use the about:profiles page.

Are you using "Clear history when Firefox closes" to clear any personal data?
