One main reason I am asking about this is because I have to download screenshots for a group I'm in and organise tables etc... For every photo added of games played, results etc... I don't get to see the relevant information I need to be able to download it.

I've tried uploading 2 pictures to here to show what I mean but they won't upload either even though they are under 1mb. Basically, when you click on any picture on facebook, you get a distorted version of that picture, or, there are no options available for downloading it etc.. When I access the same pictures on Chrome, I can like it, download it etc...and everything else is also listed, so I don't understand how Firefox isn't showing any of it.

As both browsers are on this same computer, both upto date etc..., does anyone have any idea why Firefox isn't showing everything ?

Your help would be appreciated immensely as this really is doing my head in :(

You're doing it again :( 'Just visit pages', how ? The only reason I go onto pages in facebook is because I'm signed in and have them bookmarked. No Idea how to find pages without signing in first. And I wouldn't know where I should start to look. Also, what's IOW ?

I'm baffled even more now and I've previously stated that I'm a novice on a computer and the internet. I thanked you for the guides etc..., and now you send me this after I told you I don't understand any of it :(

IOW (In Other Words)

Sorry about getting you turned upside down. Let me see if I can fix that. (Grin)

Facebook had a search box years ago. I don't see it now. General searching of Facebook can be done with Google's 'Site' command:

Site:Facebook(.com) SearchSubject

Here's one for Weather, as an example (or any subject or topic):

https://www.google.com/search?q=site.facebook.com+weather

Hi Pj, since you aren't familiar with Facebook, here is the difference in the overlay on a photo when you are logged out vs. logged in. The download option isn't listed when you are logged out.

Of course, you might be able to get the image anyway using

right-click > Save Image As...

Jscher2000, the only thing I see when I'm logged in is the actual of the woman. None of the overlays are there, hovering over it doesn't show anything either, and to the right, yours shows the white pane where it states who it is , comments etc... , but on mine , that area is completely blank too. The most annoying part is that if there is more than 1 picture in the post, I never get to see it as I have no back or next arrows showing, to move through them :(

Hmm. I wonder if it's a Graphics Card / Driver issue with QPRTYPOWER? Malware or Virus?

Don't wonder Pj. I don't see it being Malware or a virus, however, I don't know about the graphics card or driver for it. So, I did a search online and typed in dxdiag to get up the information on the screenshot, does that help you ?

According to the information on this next screenshot, the best driver is installed too.
