Why are my addons being disabled?

I got a few different notifications, ranging from something like "unauthorized addons" to "corrupt download" - what is going on?

When I first opened support.m.o, there was a brief message that said that some "fix" had been pushed, but I can't find it, either in the Android Market (hate the new name) or when I try to download directly from Mozilla.

Hi Doug®, as you may know by now, a critical certificate used in verifying add-on signatures expired, which prevents running, installing, or updating most add-ons.

A hotfix has been released for Firefox on Windows, Mac and Linux. More info in this article: Add-ons disabled or fail to install on Firefox.

There is not yet a fix for Android. The Add-ons team will post updates here: https://blog.mozilla.org/addons/2019/05/04/update-regarding-add-ons-in-firefox/

If you want an unsupported temporary workaround, please see this thread: https://support.mozilla.org/questions/1258219
