Please chill. Let's see what fixes are in Firefox 67.0.1 before making long term plans.

Also, since you do not have Firefox 67, please let support volunteers work with those who do as we try to gather information to help the developers resolve issues.

If I do not allow firefox to install 67.0 will I be able to stay on 66.0.5 until 68.0 is released? Will I then be able to go from 66.0.5 to 68.0 without ever installing 67.0  ??

I will never install 67.0 again as I do not want to have to restore all my computers, again because of firefox 67.0

So if I will not be able to "jump" to 68.0 then I will stay forever o 66.0.5 or go edge or opera but never chrome. chrome is the most difficult to remove, hundreds of registry changes must be made to remove chrome, which I did back in win XP days, but never installed it on a windows 10 box, which all of mine are.

Will I someday be able to make the jump? Will it then work with desktop web links, currently 67.0 does not work right; I have read many others with same problem and the same workaround by having an open firefox doing nothing so the second open one will work, this is a real issue, and thousands of people have it, and thousands are dumping firefox for edge and opera. I do not want to do that but will if I have to.

Can you open the Profile Manager to create a new profile or access the default profile?

If you have issues with accessing a profile then try to rename/remove compatibility.ini in this profile folder with Firefox closed.

"AppData" (XP: Application Data; Mac: ~/Library; Linux: ~/.mozilla) is a hidden folder.
