I want the new tabs to open next to the current tab and not at the end of my 644 tabs. Use to open next to the current tab and then I had to reset FF and now I can't get it back the way I had it. What do I need to add or change to get the behavior I want and had? Thanks, Ed

If this is about opening a link then check this pref on the about:config page:

  • browser.tabs.insertRelatedAfterCurrent = true

If this is about opening a new tab via the plus button then you need an extension. You can search the Add-ons website.
