how do I disable encryption and encoding on Mozilla?

I cannot send and receive any of my texts or emails for backup without them being coded. There's no key listed and I can't read them. It seems my phone is not encrypted so it is being done when they are transferred.

Is this through a web page in Firefox, or through a different app??
