Beginning a couple months ago, when I receive a reply to an email I've either composed or copied/pasted, my original upon receipt of the reply is riddled with question marks, which is both annoying and makes it unusable for possible forwarding to others; how can this problem be eliminated?

Many thanks McCoy for the suggestion. I've done as you instructed and will now await replies to emails I'll be sending in future or which I've already sent, so I can determine if that solved the problem. If it did, I'll "Mark as solved", if not, I'll seek further assistance. Thanks again!

'Will be keeping my fingers crossed for you, cause this must be sooo annoying !

Hello howardjw,

Would you try this please :
Go to the Configuration Editor (Tools, Options, Advanced, General, Config Editor).
Scroll down to mail.strictly_mime

Click on it and change it from "false" to true.
That should do the trick …..
