The add to home page option is missing from my menu, what do i do? Firefox 68.0.2.
According to the instructions, to add a site to the home page, i should go to that site and then go to menu and choose add to home page.
But that option is not there, how can i solve this, it pretty much ruins my whole experience with this browser.

Hello again Tesla,
It never occurred to me that it's the New Tab page that you want for your homepage - my bad ....
On the New Tab page you can set as many rows as you like :
Type in the address bar about:config and press Enter (promise to be careful, if asked)
Type in the search bar and look for the preference :
browser.newtabpage.activity-stream.topSitesRows
and set the value to the number you want (you can always change that number later).
Then close and restart Firefox.
You can change the sites that are shown as your Top Sites :
Hover over the right upper corner of a thumbnail and click on the three dots that will appear - then choose "Edit", and put in the name and the URL of the site you want there. (this you can also change at any time)

Only part of it though - now let's wait for someone else to "fix te rest" for you (fingers crossed).
So Admin, how about you??
Do you know how to help me with my last request??
I asked another contributor in a PM (Private Message) to take a look at this a few days ago ....... I'll try again.
Thanks McCoy, you are most helpful.
Tell me, is this a kind of hobby of yours??

Yes; I guess you could say it is, cause I love doing it (most of the time).
If you still haven't heard anything from another contributor (any contributor) in, let's say twelve hours from now : please let me know, and I'll try to contact someone else, okay ? (just send me a PM - click on my avatar; and at the bottom click on "private message")
I have sent PMs to two fellow contributors (twice), and asked them to please take a look at your still unanswered question, but alas ......
I am so, so sorry.
The only thing I can think of now is to ask you to start a new thread about this particular problem :
https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/questions/new/desktop/other
(you'll have to scroll down to the bottom of the page)
Ok, thanks for your help.
But i think i have spent to much time with this already, think i stay with Opera for a while, maybe Firefox will adapt in the future :o)

Give it one more try and post a question about this bookmarks problem ; it will only take you a minute ....

In opera, i also have the option to drag each one of the links and hover over another and create a folder with more links in 1 folder. And then i can just drag any link and put it in that folder.
In bookmarks, or speed dial/Top Sites?
I'm pretty sure if you drop a link on another link in Firefox it would be added next to or below the existing bookmark.
(I think it would be strange for Firefox to assume that you meant to move the existing link and the new link into a folder together.)
Yes i mean in speed dial, it works in the same way it works on android with icons on the desktops.
Just pick up 1 icon, drag it over another icon and hover, then the icon that sits there will expand to symbolize that it's ready to create a new folder with those 2 icons in it, let go of the icon you hover over the other, and you got your self a new folder with 2 icons. and now you can just drag and drop new icons to that folder.
It works in the same way in speed dial in opera, very nice function, easy to keep things nice and tidy :o)
