Recently had to reinstall Win10. Have been using Thunderbird for years. Installed Tbird 68 but when I ran it, it would not display properly. Blinks on and off, shows only one part of the main screen. Leaves visual artifacts on screen. Here is what I have tried already.

1. Tried to run Tbird in it's own safe mode from the "Run" dialog. Same problem 2. Tried to run Tbird in Windows safe mode. Same problem 3. Did a "clean" reboot of Windows. Same problem 4. Disabled anti-virus program (Bitdefender). No change. 5. Spoke with Bitdefender support. They have no info. 6. Deleted all profiles and related files and created a new one. No change. 7. Tried installing an earlier version of Tbird (#60). No change.

I can't take a screen shot to send because Tbird does not remain on the screen long enough.

Any help would be appreciated.

Yes, that was me Wayne. Here's what happened. After two days of me struggling with this, Win 10 updated on its own. After the update, I tried Tbird again, and it worked perfectly. This is why we get ticked off at Microsoft.

Thanks for the help.
