What do you mean by "a secure window"? Are you referring to a Private Browsing window?
If so, you can right click on the link and select Open Link in New Private Window.
Hope this helps.
hi wesley
yes i m referring to a private browsing window - but i cannot find the rightclick 'Open Link in New Private Window' - the only thing i can do is to copy the link, goto firefox, open a private browsing window, paste the link and go...
it would be better if ALL links from emails would automatically goto a private window
tnx

Does the option appear if you run Firefox in Safe Mode?
If not, do you see anything listed in the Active section of the about:policies
page? Does the option appear on links available on other websites?
For example, does the option appear on this link?
no to all of your questions above unfortunately
it would be awesome if firefox would have an option/setting where one can choose to start (after clicking a link) in private mode or standard mode instead of opening a private window when firefox is already open...
I think that you will have to drag the link to a Firefox Private Browsing mode window to make this work.
I don't know if this will work if you drag the link to a Firefox shortcut on the desktop that is set to open a private browsing mode tab/window in Firefox.
