In the main TB window, the pane on the right has column headers that one can choose. There is a column header for the From field of each email, but it shows only the NAME portion of the complete email address "NAME <acct@example.com>". When I right-click the header bar, or left-click the icon that looks like a musical symbol, I get a drop-down menu for selecting the columns. But there seems to be no entry in this menu for the "acct@example.com" part of the From or Recipient email address, or indeed for the complete email address.

turn off the use of pretty names in options > Display > advanced. By default only the display name from the address book is displayed for those in your address book.

Doesn't work. In Menu > Tools > Options > Display > Advanced > Display there is an option "Show only display name for people in my address book", but this is already unchecked. There is also no option mentioning "pretty names". This bug report stands.

This add-on shows the address in the Threads Pane:

Thank you! Very nice. Any idea why it is an addon instead of being better integrated? Just curious.

I guess it's just another feature that is managed well by the author and doesn't require further attention by TB developers.

Possibly the add-on user numbers might indicate it as a low demand option. Less than 5,000
