I have a master .vcf file of 133 VCARDs. I've exported them into individual files from Outlook 365, then catted them into one consolisated file. I haven't had to do this for a year or so, but in Thunderbird I used to simply go to Address Book > Tools > Import > Highlight “.vcf” > Next > browse-to-file > Finish, and it would import all the contacts from the consolidated vcf file. Now, it says the import completed, and there is a new address book with the same name as the source vcf file, but there are zero contacts in it.

What can I do to fix this?

Merging the vCards into one on Windows using copy *.vcf single.vcf in cmd.exe has worked for others, but if not, the CardBook add-on will import vCards. Make sure you close and reopen Address Book, as sometimes an imported file looks empty until you restart Address Book.
