I have the Australian English dictionary installed, but all web pages keep defaulting to the US English version. I have to keep right clicking and changing the dictionary.

I've looked in about:addons - dictionaries, but only the Australian one is listed.

Does anyone know how to set a default dictionary for all time, or delete the US English dictionary?

Thanks.

Hello andrew67, This article should answer your questions about dictionaries and spell checker: How do I use the Firefox spell checker?

In-fact, it does not at all.

Maybe switch to the en-GB Firefox version if you currently use the en-US version and have no intention to use its included en-US dictionary. The en-US version comes with a spell check dictionary and the en-GB version doesn't come with a dictionary.
