I have just migrated to gmail and Thunderbird on windows 10, but none of my emails sent to any of my contacts are received, but they appear in the "sent" folder. There are many problems of this kind on the web, and I have tried all of the solutions I could find (and understand) but none of them work for me. I have two PC's one on Windows 7 and the other on Windows 10 and they both give the same problem. Items send OK from G mail web site Win 10 is at level 10.0.18363. Thunderbird is at Level 68.4.2 e.mail provider is G Mail Windows firewall and AVG antivirus have both been disabled Server setting images attached.

Chosen solution

I finally fixed my Gmail login problems by following these instructions:

https://www.supertechcrew.com/thunderbird-oauth2-gmail/

But I found I had to enable cookies in TB in order to make that work. Once I did this my connection problems resolved ... I hope this helps you, also.

Thank you, this has finally fixed my problem. It did take a bit of sorting out though, as the instructions "as printed" did not fit my level of Thunderbird. It was just a matter of finding a slightly different route to do the same thing. I also had to disable cookies in Thunderbird.
