I use www.msn.com for my news page. I just updated my Windows software and now the images on www.msn.com do not load in Firefox. They load in Chrome and Edge.

Chosen solution

I need to disable Tracking Protection to make the images appear.

Firefox shows an highlighted shield icon at the left end of the location/address bar in case Tracking Protection is blocking content.

  • click the shield icon for more details and possibly disable the protection

You can check in the Web Console what content is blocked.

If you use extensions ("3-bar" menu button or Tools -> Add-ons -> Extensions) that can block content (Adblock Plus, NoScript, Disconnect, Ghostery, Privacy Badger, uBlock Origin) always make sure such extensions do not block content.

Hello wisdaj,

I just tested it a few times, and all I had to do was turn off my adblocker (and refresh the page); the images showed up immediately.

So, if you have an adblocker; would you please turn it of on "msn.com" ?

Hi McCoy,

I don't think I have an ad blocker. I looked in the Add-ons menu under Extensions.
