I have four verizon.net e-mails; all receive messages but 2 will not send and when I try to reset password it does not "take". I have verified the server settings for POP 3 on all the four accounts. (my 2 addresses with other than verizon both receive and send). I just re-downloaded the April 8 release with no change. HELP please

For Verizon/AOL, you can try changing the User Name for the outgoing server to your full email address, or switching to AOL servers and settings:

entering the full e-mail address is what I had done when checking the POP 3 settings for outgoing mail; it works on two and not the other two.

I do not see that I have aol specific info to enter. But if I do on the two that are not sending will it affect the other two being left with verizon settings?

sorry I feel as thick as two short planks with this problem!

POP3 refers to the incoming server, and SMTP is the outgoing server. Change the User Name in Tools/Account Settings, Outgoing Server (SMTP) at the bottom of the left pane.

If you change a password, delete the old one from Options/Security/Passwords/Saved Passwords, restart TB, and enter the new password when prompted.

Get the User Names and passwords straightened out before switching to AOL servers, if necessary.
