I want to see History in the Firefox menu while hiding History on the homepage. There is no current option to hide History and still have the menu option.
Hello! I love Firefox, especially when I can hide all unwanted distractions. I always want a blank homepage, but this is currently impossible to obtain without completely disabling History. I always want History to exist in the Firefox Menu, but I still want to have a blank homepage. As it currently exists, I'm forced to be distracted by this big, oftentimes useless menu every time I open a new tab. Please enable this ability, it makes no sense as its currently designed.
Chosen solution
I remember now. Try this:
menu > Settings > General > Home
"Set a Homepage" > Custom > about:blank
"Also use for new tabs" => on
Assuming you have the History panel set to Show, this should do what you're looking for.
Success?

Firefox for Android is in the process of being rewritten. There is no more feature work being done on the release version. You can see the new version by installing Firefox Beta or Firefox Preview from the Play store.
For the classic Firefox for Android, go to:
menu button > Settings > General > Home
In the Panels section:
- tap History, then tap Hide
If you want to hide other panels, repeat for those panels.
Whoops, I see what you're saying, for some reason the home page panels are linked with the menu.
I usually find relevant history by typing in the address bar, but if you need a chronological list, that won't help.
