Number of items on the Location Bar
Just updated to Firefox 78.0.1 and now when I click the location bar the number of items decreased from 10 to 8. Any way to configure how much items are displayed when I click the bar? Note that I mean just clicking the bar, before typing any text.

When you click in the location bar and haven't typed yet then you get eight "Top sites" when you have enabled this. You can exclude the top sites via Options/Preferences to get the regular history drop-down.
The location bar drop-down list can show history items, bookmarked pages, pages opened in tabs, and search suggestions.
You can set what suggestions show when you enter an URL in the location/address bar bar.
- Options/Preferences -> Privacy & Security
Address Bar: When using the location bar, suggest:
History
Bookmarks
Open tabs
Top sites
I don't want to exclude the 8 top sides, I want to add at least 2 more to get the exact number it had before the last update.
Hello,
Sorry to inform you but in new updated version of firefox, Number of Top Sites are limited in drop down menu, You can't see more than 8 sites in that menu.
Hope it helps.....Thank You !!
Well, that's a shame, but thank you both anyway.
I think that it will be changed in the next version.
In v. 80 I have browser.urlbar.maxRichResults = 10 (default), and it's 10 items on click.
Modified
This is not about browser.urlbar.maxRichResults, but about the number of top sites items that is fixed in the code to eight items.
We want the top 8 sites.
@cor-el, in the release version it's hardcoded 8.
I'm talking about mozilla-central (nightly): https://searchfox.org/mozilla-central/source/browser/components/urlbar/UrlbarProviderTopSites.jsm#137
See bug 1631848.
Modified
Thanks.
Firefox 79 will have this as well.

By the way, if you type a space, you can get your classic frequently visited URLs list. Unfortunately, it's not mouse-able.
I only get six items showing.
