I installed TB v78, and now it just loops indefinately trying to access imap.comcast.net. It used to work, so I'd like to go back. The mail is there, and I can access it thru the xfinity web page, so I have the right password. I tried creating a new profile; it automatically configured to the same as my current profile, but failed with a password error when I tried to use it. Thus makes no sense! Where can I find TB v68.x?

My guess is you have an internet security suite problem. But try the following to make sure.

Restart the operating system in safe mode with Networking. This loads only the very basics needed to start your computer while enabling an Internet connection. Click on your operating system for instructions on how to start in safe mode: Windows 10, Windows 8, Windows 7, Windows Vista, Windows XP, OSX

If safe mode for the operating system fixes the issue, there's other software in your computer that's causing problems. Possibilities include but not limited to: AV scanning, virus/malware, background downloads such as program updates.
