Firefox attempted to access a secure website
Hi
I completely blocked google and facebook in MacOS Catalina 10.15.6 (19G73) using screen time and now this window keep popping up all the time.
Why is firefox trying to access google in background?
Thanks Carlos

Hi Carlos, Firefox retrieves lists from the Google SafeBrowsing project for phishing and malware protection several times a day. More info:
- How does built-in Phishing and Malware Protection work?
- How to stop Firefox from making automatic connections
Not sure if there would be any other reason.
I assume that this is a Mac OS feature or is added by some security or parental control software, so you need to check the settings of this software or check its FAQs or contact the creators for support.
