Firefox crashes before opening
A few days ago my Firefox browser started crashing before it even opens. I'm not very tech-oriented. Can I just delete Firefox then re-download it? I have an older Mac that is running low on storage, so this may have been a contributing factor. I have deleted some stuff and have some storage but Firefox still crashing. I get only a box that says Firefox crashed and do I want to send a report. So I send the report and get no response. I am using Safari for today - but this is not my choice - Safari doesn't load links like it should. Never had ANY problems with Firefox before and have used it predominately for 20+ years.
Thank you for any instructions you can send me on how to fix my Firefox.

If you can't get Firefox to open, you will have to do this the hard way.
Open the file browser / explorer on your computer. Note: You may have to enable Show Hidden Folders / Files. Enter this in the address bar;
Windows: %APPDATA%\Mozilla\Firefox\Crash Reports\submitted Win 7/Vista: C:\Users\<username>\AppData\Roaming\Mozilla\Firefox\Crash Reports\submitted Win XP/2000: C:\Documents and Settings\<username>\Application Data\Mozilla\Firefox\Crash Reports\submitted
Mac OS: /Users/<username>/Library/Application Support/Firefox/Crash Reports/submitted Linux: /home/<username>/.mozilla/firefox/Crash Reports/submitted
Copy the most Recent 5-7 File Names in the folder. Press the Reply button. Now go to the reply box and paste them in.

Crash Report submitted. I hadn't known to go to my Firefox folder and find those file names. After two failed attempts the crash reporter opened a dialog box and I was able to enter those file names. I entered my email so Firefox can communicate with me about the problem. Thank you!
It is very rare for the user to be contacted. Post the report numbers here and I can check them out.
